Lumito specialises in advanced research technology for digital tissue imaging. Lumito originated as a spin-off from a Lund University’s Division of Atomic Physics and Laser Centre. Our SCIZYS system offers research laboratories a highly sensitive tool for biomarker detection in tissue samples using upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs). SCIZYS combines detailed morphological data with the precise localisation of UCNP-labelled antibodies, delivering comprehensive datasets compatible with existing analysis tools.

The SCIZYS system has many potential application areas, including drug discovery/development research, antibody validation studies, agricultural plant research, toxicology, oncology, tissue cross-reactivity studies, and the development of antibody-drug conjugates.
